Head of Health and Safety

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be supporting the University of Bradford appoint a Head of Health and Safety. As the Head of Health and Safety you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety procedures within the organisation to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. This will include developing and implementing health and safety policies, investigating accidents, and seeking assurance of compliance with relevant legislation, particularly in regard to statutory tests and inspections.

You will take an active and leading role both strategically and operationally in initiatives and delivery of plans across the University using professional Health and Safety knowledge and promote a culture where Health and Safety best practice is integrated into all operations by influencing and driving Health and Safety improvement actions and ensuring compliance with legislation and University policies.

As well as being highly qualified in Health and Safety and a member of a relevant professional body, the University is looking to appoint an individual who has significant Health and Safety leadership experience in a multi – faceted organisation with ideally some previous Higher Education experience.
