Queen Mary University of London (QMUl) is a leading research-intensive university with a difference – one that opens the doors of opportunity to anyone with the potential to succeed. It is a unique place of world-leading research and unparalleled diversity and inclusivity, that lives and breathes its history and heritage and is embedded in the communities it serves. By 2030, QMUL will be the most inclusive university of its kind, anywhere.
Our community is over 33,000 students and 5,400 staff which operates over five campuses in London, Europe and Asisa. With ambitious plans for the future, we are now seeking to appoint a Technical Project Manager. A key leadership role in delivering the Queen Mary University of London Strategy 2030.
The Technical Project Manager will lead the successful implementation of a number of diverse major projects at the University. Projects will typically be complex in nature and range from £20k to £1m in value. These will include plant asset replacement and enhanced refurbishment engineering projects. These projects will have a direct impact on the learning environment and the campus experience.
The Technical Project Manager will be experienced in mechanical and electrical design and project management. They will have a good understanding of programme logic sequencing, forecast planning, organisational and delivery skill with the ability to cope with multiple projects. They will posses high levels of communication skills in order to successfully work with a board spectrum of stakeholders.
This is an exciting time to join the University as we seek community building on the significant successes of recent years.
Queen Marys University values the diversity of its staff and students and we welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from people who identify as being from underrepresented backgrounds.
The closing date for applications is noon on Monday 28th August 2023.
