Associate Director of People and Culture - Operations, Systems & Service

Following the recent appointment of our new Director of People and Culture, we are seeking to appoint a senior team of ambitious, knowledgeable, change-makers to support the Director in the development and delivery of the University’s people and culture strategies.

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, collectively this senior team will provide collaborative strategic leadership for all people services across the University. Individually they will lead their portfolio and contribute to the University strategy and develop and implement an approach that aligns people within the University to the overall corporate plan and delivery of its vision and mission.

This transformational senior leadership role will ensure that all People & Culture systems, services and operations are effective and efficient. From reviewing all processes to building new digital capability, under their leadership, the Systems, Service & Operations team will make it simple for staff and managers to access employment information and gather insight throughout their tenure. From ensuring an accurate payroll to providing pensions, from servicing employment contracts to providing first-line support to staff and from building dashboards to introducing new systems, this team will provide the solutions, systems and services needed to run an award-winning People & Culture team.

We are looking for exceptional individuals to lead our HR functions. Candidates will bring wide-ranging HR leadership experience and a strong track record of delivering transformation and driving performance improvement in individuals, functions and organisations. High-level interpersonal and communication skills will be essential, as will experience in building and developing high-performing teams. Candidates will also drive the implementation of HR goals through detailed project plans and the management of relevant performance indicators.
