We are thrilled to have Liam Mucklow join Anderson Quigley as a Researcher where he will support our Schools and Trusts team as we continue to partner with Independent schools, multi academy trusts and international schools to provide outstanding leaders and innovators in education.
As part of Liam’s onboarding process, we caught up with him to ask a few questions about his background and future plans.
What is your background?
My background is in Independent Schools recruitment; I worked for 13 years for a practice which specialised in this area. Throughout my career, my focus has been exclusively on finding the right calibre of education professional for a variety of roles with some of the most notable independent schools in the UK and internationally. The experiences I’ve had so far translate well in terms of the role I’m now undertaking at Anderson Quigley.
What inspired you to join Anderson Quigley?
Having known people who had worked with AQ and Hayley Mintern, I was aware of the supportive culture, consultative nature of their work and the great strides being made in the school’s practice. The opportunity to join AQ represented a professional step forward, one in which I could have a genuine impact in ensuring the right leaders were in the right positions, with the tools to succeed.
What will your focus be at AQ?
At AQ, I will be working alongside Hayley Mintern and Alasdair Redwood to support independent schools, MATs and international schools and groups with the appointment of senior academic leaders. My focus will be researching the sector effectively to ensure schools are making senior appointments that fit their ethos and requirements.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
My spare time is generally spent staying active; I’m a keen runner, average padel player, gym-goer, and enthusiastic reader.
