Launching our additional support for schools; advisory support and talent development

We believe that investing in skilled professionals is an investment in your pupils’ futures. That investment is more than just finding the right person for the job, it is how you also invest to support, nurture and develop them. That’s why we’ve developed additional services to support your people in their roles – helping them perform their jobs, as well as understand and further develop their skills and experiences.

Our additional services come under two areas, advisory support and talent development. These services are delivered by our carefully chosen network of experienced and trusted associates. Our associates are uniquely skilled in different areas, acting as a critical friend and strategic advisor, providing advice and support whatever challenges your organisation might be facing.

Advisory support

  • Independent complaint panel members; independent advisors available to review HR or parents complaints, as well as chair independent panels.
  • Appraisals; every Bursar, Chair and Head should have a regular appraisal – when done properly, this is far more than simply feeding back comments from colleagues, and can be hugely mutually beneficial for both the individual and the school. We can help you through every step of the process.
  • Consultancy; vast array of experience to provide support and objectivity from an external perspective in a number of key areas including but not limited to, advice on organisational structure, financial benchmarking, and reports for Heads and Governing Bodies.

Talent development

  • Coaching; we can introduce you to a number of different coaching programmes, delivered in partnership with Coaching 4 Schools, tailored to provide the help and support you need to develop to the next step in your career. We can also create bespoke coaching packages if you have specific needs or challenges, matching you to a coach who we know can provide you with the coaching support you need.
  • Mentoring; leadership can be a lonely space, with many conflicting demands and decision to be made. we can offer a trusted, experienced and confidential mentor to listen and provide dedicated contact for support and advice. Whether you’ re newly appointed into a leadership position, or an experienced leader that needs some additional support with specific challenges, we can partner you with a mentor who can support you with your journey.
