Anderson Quigley is supporting a UK university to appoint an Interim Head of Department (Law).
This is a role for an experienced Law academic leader who can step in quickly, provide stability and create momentum.
Reporting to the Dean, you’ll lead the department through an important period, with responsibility for its academic performance, student experience, people, resources and future development.
A key part of the assignment will be working with the Dean to strengthen culture and capability, deliver School priorities and ensure the department is performing against its key measures across teaching, student outcomes, research, knowledge exchange and international activity. You’ll also build strong relationships with relevant external organisations and contribute to wider School and University projects, bringing a collaborative approach to working across organisational boundaries.
We’re looking for someone who has led a Law department or significant academic portfolio, with strong experience of managing people and resources and delivering through change.
You’ll be credible, pragmatic and comfortable taking ownership – someone who can provide steady leadership while making things happen.
If you’re an experienced HE Law leader and available for an interim assignment, we’d like to hear from you.
