Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with a leading UK university based in the South East as they look to appoint an interim External Communications Lead.
Your main areas of responsibility will focus on media relations and reputation management, student recruitment communications and day to day external communications
In this role you will report to the Head of Communications and support the Vice-Chancellor and senior leadership team, helping to deliver clear, confident communications. You will work with external agencies including public affairs support. Internally you will lead a team of 3.
It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have experience operating within complex organisations, managing sensitive or high-profile communications issues, and building credibility quickly with senior stakeholders. Higher Education experience would be advantageous, though not essential.
The contract length is 9 months with hybrid working, 3 days onsite.
