Interim Provost – Large Higher Education Institution in the UK – Urgent

Anderson Quigley is pleased to be working with a large higher education institution in the UK on the immediate and urgent interim appointment of a Provost.

Overview:

Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, the role carries overall institution level lead responsibility for academic leadership, including academic standards, learning and teaching, and student outcomes. The Interim Provost will provide stability, authority and clear executive oversight across all academic activity, working closely with executive and senior colleagues to ensure continuity and effective delivery during a period of change.

Terms:

This is a 6-month interim appointment, with potential for extension and a clear possibility of the role turning into a permanent one (should both parties wish for this – this is not a requisite or blocker to interest!). We are open to market rate regarding remuneration.

Experience:

Ideally, you must bring recent experience at PVC, DVC or Provost level within an academic or education portfolio, gained recently within a UK Higher Education context. Also essential is immediate availability or the ability to start on short notice e.g. 1 month.
