Anderson Quigley are supporting a large, complex education group as it enters a critical phase of strategic development and delivery.

Working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and Executive team, the Interim Director of Strategic Projects will lead the coordination and delivery of a portfolio of high-profile strategic initiatives. These programmes will translate emerging strategic priorities into clear objectives, defined outcomes and executable delivery plans.

This is a pivotal leadership role, bringing together multiple transformation strands across people, process and technology. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment across the portfolio, establishing effective governance, and driving pace and accountability to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of a complex portfolio of strategic initiatives
  • Translating strategy into clear plans, milestones and measurable outcomes
  • Establishing governance, reporting and programme structures
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and momentum
  • Building the capability and discipline required for successful delivery

We are looking for:

  • A proven leader of large-scale transformation programmes
  • Experience operating at Executive level within complex organisations
  • Strong programme and change management expertise
  • The ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of the higher education landscape
