A senior HR opportunity for a strategic workforce planning specialist ready to operate at institutional level.

We are seeking an experienced HR leader with a strong track record in workforce planning, organisational design and transformation within complex environments, ideally higher education or similarly matrixed organisation.

This role will focus on translating institutional strategy into practical, sustainable workforce plans. You will work closely with senior leaders to forecast future staffing requirements, shape recruitment and succession strategies, advise on employment models and ensure workforce structures are aligned to long-term objectives.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing workforce planning frameworks
  • Strong analytical capability, confident using HR metrics, forecasting trends and benchmarking data
  • Experience advising executive stakeholders on organisational design and workforce strategy
  • A background supporting structural change or transformation programmes

This is a strategic and visible role requiring credibility, resilience and the ability to balance data-led insight with pragmatic delivery.
