As the Alliance continues to grow in scale and aspiration, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Digital Strategy to play a pivotal role in leading digital change, shaping organisational capability, and ensuring technology enables sustainable, high quality outcomes across our settings
This is a new senior, trust-wide leadership role, offering the opportunity to think strategically, lead people through change, and make a tangible difference to the educational experience of thousands of pupils.
The Role
The Head of Digital Strategy will provide clear, forward thinking leadership for digital transformation across the Alliance. You will define and drive a coherent digital vision that aligns with our educational priorities, ensuring that technology, systems and ways of working evolve to meet the needs of a modern, growing organisation.
A core focus of the role will be people leadership and change management. You will lead, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and digital confidence across both central services and schools. You will work closely with senior leaders to embed new ways of working, ensuring that digital change is understood, adopted and sustained at every level.
You will oversee the development and delivery of a trust wide digital strategy that balances innovation with operational excellence. This includes modernising infrastructure and systems, improving data-driven decision-making, and enabling smarter, more efficient processes that support both teaching and organisational effectiveness.
Acting as a key strategic partner, you will translate vision into practical, scalable solutions ensuring that digital initiatives deliver real impact in classrooms, staff experience and organisational performance.
