Anderson Quigley is happy to be working with a university in the North West who are looking to appoint an interim Head of Disability and Inclusive Practice Service / Senior Disability Practitioner role.

Your main areas of responsibility will focus on managing complex, high-demand student support services around disability casework and ensuring appropriate reasonable adjustments and support is offered to students.

Your role will also be to support the Student Services leadership team and manage a small team to enhance the student experience, ensuring a joined-up approach to supporting disabled students and those with complex needs.

You will also lead on projects, improve systems and processes that underpin effective, timely, and compliant support delivery.

It would be essential for the successful candidate to have experience of managing student support case work within a Higher or Further Education context, and proven ability to coordinate and negotiate support packages involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. accommodation, security, academic departments).

The contract length is 6 months starting January 2026, with 3 days onsite on campus. Alternatively, there may be potential for a remote working for expert-adviser arrangement focusing on disability and reasonable adjustments, without direct service management responsibilities.
