The school is now seeking to appoint a Director of Finance and Operations to join the senior leadership team at an important and exciting point in its continuing development. 

This is a significant strategic role in a flourishing school led by an ambitious and forward-thinking Head, supported by the considerable expertise, infrastructure and collegiate strength of the GDST. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping and enabling the next phase of the school’s development, ensuring that operational excellence underpins educational ambition. 

Working closely with the Head and Governors, the Director of Finance and Operations will provide strategic leadership across finance and operations, including estates, compliance, commercial activity, health and safety and support services. They will bring clarity, sound judgement and a strong understanding of how effective operational leadership can positively influence the experience of pupils, staff and the wider school community. 

The successful candidate will be an accomplished and credible leader with strong financial and operational expertise, alongside the personal qualities to thrive in a bright, high-performing and collaborative environment. While experience within education may be advantageous, the school welcomes interest from candidates across a range of sectors who bring strategic capability, emotional intelligence and a genuine affinity for the values and ambitions of the school.
