Interim Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion/Pastoral, SEN School, Dorset

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with this 3-19 Special School in Dorset that is looking to engage an interim Assistant Headteacher-Inclusion/Pastoral for the remainder of the autumn term in the first instance. The role may involve some teaching. The role will also involve being Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the Upper part of the school.

All pupils have an EHC plan associated with physical disability and/or complex medical conditions. Most pupils have additional learning needs. Some pupils have profound or complex learning difficulties.

You will ideally have a strong SEND background with SLT and DSL experience. The role is 5 days a week.

The engagement will ideally be on a Fixed Term Contract on a salary up to L8 depending on experience. A contribution towards expenses will be payable for candidates requiring accommodation during the assignment.
