Anderson Quigley is delighted to be supporting a UK university through a critical period of organisational and educational transformation with the appointment of an Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education & Experience).

This is a pivotal role, providing institutional accountability for student outcomes and experience, and acting as the executive lead and central coordinator for all strategic and operational activity in this space.

The successful interim will:

  • Lead efforts to enhance the quality of education and the student experience, addressing areas where recent performance indicators – including satisfaction, continuation, and progression – have shown signs of pressure.
  • Deliver credible, evidence-based leadership to stabilise performance and instill confidence across the executive team, the governing body, and the wider university community.
  • Undertake a high-level as-is assessment of current functions, responsibilities, and structures related to student outcomes and experience.
  • Provide clear recommendations that will inform the future shape of the portfolio and the permanent PVC role, ahead of a planned recruitment campaign later this year.
