Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with a leading Private Higher Education provider who are looking to appoint a Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager.

Overview

Our client is a global education provider based in the UK with a group of education institutions across 16 countries including higher education providers, online learning platforms, apprenticeship businesses, and language schools, with a strong and growing international footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Managing Director of External Engagement and Sustainability in developing a public affairs and policy strategy
  • Building networks and relationships with ministers, officials, parliamentarians, think tanks, and regional authorities.
  • Monitoring and interpreting government policy developments to identify opportunities and risks, and advising colleagues accordingly.
  • Representing the organisation with trade bodies and industry groups to ensure impactful advocacy across higher education, apprenticeships, life-long learning, and social mobility.

Your role will also be to support the development of the organisations profile and influence with policymakers and stakeholders, as well as policy and government affairs initiatives.

It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have strong experience within the UK’s education policy environment, excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, and proven experience in producing executive-level briefings and events.

The client would like to consider candidates are available within a month or at the most 2 months.

This role will be based in London 5 days onsite.
