Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the creation of a new academic department within the School of Health and Social Sciences. As Head of Department – Psychology and Neuroscience, you will shape and deliver a forward-thinking curriculum, oversee laboratory development, and recruit a new academic team to support both undergraduate and postgraduate provision.

Who We Are Looking For
We’re seeking an academic leader with experience setting up or significantly developing a department, with a strong understanding of BPS standards and processes. It would be desirable to have a background in neuroscience. A track record of building high-performing teams and delivering engaging, accredited academic programmes is essential. Familiarity with validation processes and working with degree-awarding partners would be highly advantageous.
