Join our clients ambitious Digital Futures Programme as a PMO Manager and play a central role in shaping the delivery of a portfolio that is transforming how they work, serve, and innovate.

About the Role

As PMO Manager, you’ll report to the Programme Manager and lead the portfolio management office for a major change initiative. You’ll establish and continuously improve governance, reporting, assurance, and planning processes across a suite of critical digital transformation projects.

This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on leading cross-functional teams, influencing at all levels, and enabling impactful change.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and evolve PMO operations to support delivery of a strategic digital transformation portfolio
  • Ensure robust governance frameworks and high-quality project artefacts (plans, RAID logs, financial tracking)
  • Provide oversight and assurance on delivery progress, risk, benefits realisation, and budget management
  • Collaborate closely with project leads, stakeholders, and senior management across the organisation
  • Drive improvements in P3M capability, tools, and templates organisation-wide

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record managing programmes or portfolios from end-to-end using recognised frameworks (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Budgeting and finance experience with large complex programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – confident with presenting, influencing, and facilitating
  • Strong leadership experience in a matrix environment
  • Analytical, organised, and highly proficient in MS Office and project tools
  • APM, PRINCE2, MSP or similar project management qualification
