Anderson Quigley is pleased to be partnering again with the London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) to lead the search for their new Executive Dean. This new full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, with 3–4 days a week on-site at their Tower Hill or Aldgate campuses (London).

Who is LCCA?

LCCA is a modern, creative institution in central London, offering career-focused undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fashion, graphic design, business management, and hospitality. With a student-centred approach, academically rigorous teaching, new campuses planned, and student numbers set to grow from c.9,000 to c.12,000 – this is an exciting time to join the leadership team. Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Principal, with a dotted line to the Group Chief Academic Officer, the Executive Dean will provide both strategic and operational leadership across LCCA’s academic portfolio (business, hospitality, creative, foundation and weekend programmes). Leading a high-performing team, through the line management of three Academic Deans, you will oversee programme delivery across their London campuses in Tower Hill and Aldgate.

This pivotal role will be responsible for driving academic excellence, developing a quality and data informed culture, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing the student experience, and developing an innovative, industry-relevant curricula that aligns with university partners and the creative sector.

Essential Criteria:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic academic leader, who has held senior roles such as Dean or Head of School, with a strong record of leading multidisciplinary teams and sustaining high standards in teaching, learning, and outcomes. You will bring deep knowledge of academic governance and regulatory compliance – including OfS, QAA, and UKVI – alongside strong skills in using performance data. You will also have a respected reputation from higher education, the creative industries, or significant professional practice.

A doctoral qualification is ideal, or post-graduate at the minimum. The role demands expertise in change management, staff development, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative academic environment. Above all, you’ll be committed to enhancing quality assurance and driving improvement across LCCA.
