Interim Secondary Vice Principal (Community Engagement/Additional Needs)

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with this 11-16 secondary academy in London as they seek to source interim senior leadership support and expertise with a particular focus around community engagement and additional needs in this highly diverse urban setting and in an area of high deprivation.

You will have recent experience working in a similar setting and will not be fazed by the challenges this provides. You will be able to hit the ground running, have a totally inclusive approach, will be adept at de-escalating difficult situations while at the same time always maintaining high standards. You will be able to take the initiative and get stuff done!

There will be a focus on admissions and smooth transition from primary to secondary for September 2025. You will have the required skillset to engage effectively with and manage the expectations of different cultures across the local community. In addition, you will manage additional needs across the school with the possibility of building a department to support these pupils.

This is a 5 day a week role with the ideal engagement being on a Fixed Term Contract on a salary in the region of £85K to £90K p.a with an April start for 2 terms to a year.
