Anderson Quigley is supporting a university in their search for an interim senior academic leader to provide strategic and operational support within the faculty of Computing, Engineering & Science.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the faculty’s senior leadership team in delivering key strategic priorities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in workforce planning, curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and research enhancement during a period of transition.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic support to the faculty’s senior team, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Oversee key operational areas, including academic quality, staff development, and resource planning.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and staff retention initiatives.
  • Represent the faculty in institutional meetings, committees, and external engagements.
  • Support research, innovation, and teaching excellence to enhance the faculty’s impact.

Candidate profile:

  • Senior academic leadership experience – Dean, Deputy Dean, Faculty Manager, or similar.
  • A strong academic background in Computing, Engineering, or Science.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership within a higher education environment.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, workforce planning, and academic governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
