Overall Responsibility
Anderson Quigley is urgently supporting a thriving stand-alone prep school with the recruitment of their Estates Manager. The Estates Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of estate management, buildings and grounds maintenance and refurbishment work ensuring that the facilities, equipment and grounds are in the best possible state of operational readiness, cleanliness and appearance, within budget constraints, whilst taking a leading role in the ongoing strategic development of the estate.
The role also involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, sitting on the estates and health and safety committee, managing site security and contributing to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people.
Additionally, the Estates Manager will act as the School Transport Manager, overseeing the management and compliance of organisational vehicles, driver administration, and outsourcing maintenance schedules.
Practicalities
This role is offered as a 12-month contract to start immediately, this will be appointed on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) salaried basis. The position is full-time, ideally five days per week, and is based in Surrey.
