Practicalities

This role is offered as a minimum 6-month contract to start immediately, with a possible extension on offer of 9-12 months and will be appointed on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) salaried basis. The position is full-time, ideally five days per week, and follows a hybrid working model, with a couple of days on campus in Poole and flexibility for remote working.

Role Overview

As Interim Change Manager, you will lead and deliver change initiatives to enhance operations, optimise processes, and improve service effectiveness. This hands-on role focuses on process mapping, workflow streamlining, and setting the stage for automation and digitisation. You will engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and build consensus to ensure successful change, reporting to the Head of PMO and working with the University Executive Team.

Your responsibilities will include gathering feedback, mapping processes, prioritising initiatives, and implementing change strategies. You will create clear project plans, promote continuous improvement, and involve staff and faculty in the process. Additionally, you will monitor progress, report to leadership, and manage risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills are a must, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences.
