Interim Head of International Student Recruitment, Higher Education Provider

Anderson Quigley is excited to be partnering with a leading Higher Education Provider to recruit an Interim Head of International Student Recruitment. This is an interim role for approximately 6 months, offering a unique opportunity to shape the university’s international recruitment strategy while they search for a permanent appointee.

Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the university’s International Strategy, with an immediate focus on growing international student numbers and developing new global markets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the International Recruitment and Conversion teams, as well as managing In-Country Officers.
• Overseeing the full recruitment cycle, from market prioritisation to acquisition strategies, while driving enquiry and conversion activities.
• Collaborating with the Head of UK and International Admissions to ensure seamless and efficient admissions processes.
• Achieving ambitious international student recruitment targets by identifying and expanding into new international markets.

We are seeking an experienced marketing and recruitment professional with a strong background in international student recruitment within the Higher Education sector. You will have a deep understanding of the international recruitment landscape, and the admissions cycles that impact student enrolment.

As a proven leader, you will inspire and nurture high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Your interpersonal skills, business acumen, and ability to develop strategic partnerships will be key to driving success in this role.

Experience in delivering against ambitious recruitment targets, along with the entrepreneurial spirit to explore and expand into new markets, is essential.
