Headteacher

We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated Headteacher to lead Blue Skies into its next phase of development and growth.

Blue Skies is an independent special school, based in Medway, which offers a unique service to children and young adults aged 11-25 on the autism spectrum. It is an extremely caring school with a holistic approach towards education, catering for students in Medway, Kent and the surrounding areas.

The school ethos is the importance for students to achieve their full potential and progress to a future of their choice, to ensure this they offer a rich and stimulating curriculum, individually tailored to our student’s needs, supported by strong pastoral care, social and emotional support and various therapies. The small adapted environment allows them to break down any barriers to learning and support individuals needs.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior leader with a passion for special education ideally with a strong background working with ASD provision. You will be strong leader with both a commercial and educational understanding. You will have the ability and enthusiasm to ensure everyone involved in the school can ensure our students achieve their potential.  Blue Skies offers a uniquely rewarding work environment, with a vibrant and supportive school community you will have the opportunity to work delivery with the proprietors and advisory board on the future of the school.
