The Institute of Physics & Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) serves as the professional body for this workforce, boasting nearly 5,000 members from healthcare, academia, and industry. IPEM aims to ignite enthusiasm for the progression of science and engineering in medicine for the public good.

As we commence our search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO); we are eager to find a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and innovation.  Poised for exciting developments, we are seeking a transformative Chief Executive to lead us into our next chapter. Committed to growth and diversification, we need a dynamic leader to review and refine our long-term plan—ensuring it resonates with stakeholders, current members, and the wider public. Through its focus on education, publications, meetings, and bursaries, IPEM is committed to advancing knowledge, influencing standards and best practices, and promoting education and professional development to enhance expertise.
