This is a fully on-site role, based at their London, Manchester, Birmingham, or Leeds campuses (with travel between). On offer is an excellent package of c.£180k plus annual bonus.

Overview:
As Deputy CEO (effectively a Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic), you will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to ensure GBS operates effectively. You will spearhead strategic projects, foster a collaborative culture, and drive GBS’s strategic goals, playing a pivotal role in academic excellence and operational efficiency. As an experienced executive leader, you will grow the institution, manage organisational change, and adapt swiftly to changing demands.
Your strong planning, prioritising, and high-level decision-making abilities, along with your expert skills in persuasion, engagement, and influencing key stakeholders internally and externally, will be key to your success.
Essential Criteria:
Essential to the role is extensive academic leadership experience within a UK university. You will likely be operating in a Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC) or Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) capacity, with responsibility for an Education / Learning and Teaching, Student Experience and Outcomes, and Quality Assurance portfolio. Resilience, commercial acumen, agility, an outcome led approach, and a passion for education and enhancing student success is key.
