Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with Regent College who are looking to appoint a Dean of Education.

Regent College was formed in 2010 – a Higher Education institution, who work with a collection of university partners to deliver Foundation Degrees, through to Master’s Degrees. Their driving commitment is to provide excellent teaching, a positive culture, and unparalleled student support. They have grown significantly since their inception and have ambitions to continue to increase in size and scope.

The Dean of Education is a fantastic set of opportunity to lead a new and exciting part of Regent – Teaching Excellence Academy – setup to focus on ensuring the highest quality standards are reached by academic staff and students are provided with best academic experience.

The Dean of Education will manage 5 Associate Deans of Education – Business x3, Computing & Engineering x1, and Health x1. Overseeing the development of a college-wide academic development programme.

Their responsibilities will include:

  • advising the Principal, Provost and other senior colleagues on developments in teaching and learning
  • providing a vision, leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of the College’s teaching, assessment, quality assurance and academic staff development considering all awarding bodies requirements
  • maintaining and implementing the College’s Teaching and Assessment plan, ensuring it is consistent with best practice and that it drives the delivery of excellent teaching and assessment according to the requirements of regulators and awarding bodies
  • working with the Head of Digital Learning to ensure the latest technologies are being utilised.
