Anderson Quigley is delighted to continue our campaign of leadership recruitment with GEDU Global Education, the parent company of GBS.
Please note, this is a fully on-site role, to be based from London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, with an expectation for moderate international travel.
Who is GEDU?
GEDU is a leading educational institution with a global footprint and a valuable mission: to break down barriers and empower non-traditional student demographics to access high-quality education through inspiring and practical programmes based on cutting-edge educational methodology and technology. Possessing a vision to become a globally respected, trailblazing provider of education, they promote learning as a key driver of socioeconomic progress whilst maintaining a strong commitment to quality and innovation. With c.30,000 students worldwide, GEDU is fast becoming the challenger education provider of choice for career-focused, lifelong education.
Overview of the role:
The core duties of this role revolve around identifying potential education institution partners within the UK and globally, with a keen focus on aligning strategic needs with GEDU’s business prospects. This will involve spearheading initial discussions with potential partners until arriving at a tentative agreement, then supervising the progression from a principled understanding to a formal contract. Following this phase, the account management operations team will assume responsibility, while the PVC/Director of Partnerships continues to cultivate new business and partnerships, all the while nurturing positive, high-level relationships with existing education partners.
Essential experience:
To excel in this position, prior experience in leadership roles within Higher Education to Higher Education partnerships, e.g. at Director or A-PVC level in your current institution, is essential. Also essential is significant experience of winning new education partnerships and new business development, as is the proven ability to influence and communicate credibly with DVCs, VCs and equivalents across the HE sector, both within the UK and globally.
