Anderson Quigley is delighted to continue our campaign of leadership recruitment with GBS (a subsidiary of the parent company of GEDU Global Education), this time on the appointment of their Director of UK Admissions. Please note, this is a fully on-site role, to be based from London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds.

Overview of the role:
The Director of UK Admissions, reporting to the Academic Registrar, will play a pivotal role in efficiently managing the UK Admissions process for all GBS programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes leading and scaling the UK Admissions Team, overseeing home market applications, collaborating with the wider admissions team, and contributing to meeting recruitment targets over three yearly intakes. The role involves managing processes, maintaining service standards, and fostering stakeholder relationships, while also proactively addressing trends and legal aspects impacting admissions.
Essential Criteria:
Significant leadership experience of Admissions in a university, HE or HE within FE context is required. Familiarity with statutory bodies’ requirements, strong knowledge of HE admissions procedures, and the ability to maintain and implement efficient and clear record-keeping systems is also essential. Furthermore, candidates should exhibit a keen sense of commercialism, creativity, adaptability, and a methodical and ‘hands-on’ approach to leading a high performing admissions function. Proficiency in Zoho CRM, understanding of the UCAS cycle and UKVI Sponsoring System & Student Route regulations, and experience in policy writing are desirable, but not essential.
