Interim Head of Admissions, UK University

Anderson Quigley is currently working with a London based university to identify an Interim Head of Admissions. This is a 6 month appointment whilst the university works to identify a substantive.

The Head of Admissions leads the delivery and development of the University’s admissions function. The successful candidate will enable the university to meet its student recruitment targets by delivering a seamless student journey, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the admissions service is responsive to the needs of diverse applicants in a competitive recruitment environment.

As the successful candidate you will use recruitment data, customer insights and your expert knowledge of the higher education landscape to influence the university’s strategic decision making. You will liaise with senior colleagues in Colleges, Strategic Insights, Planning, and Marketing and Communications to develop key recruitment strategies.

We are looking for an experienced higher education leader to lead the admissions team, overseeing staff responsible for application processing and digital developments to ensure they deliver an agile and robust service which is able to respond to peaks in demand. You will also support the wider work of the Marketing and Communications department, enabling the university to achieve their vision of delivering a seamless customer experience from initial contact, through application, to enrolment.
