Anderson Quigley is currently working with a London based University to identify an interim Head of Governance. This is an interim opportunity for 6 months to cover a period of change.
Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Governors and Vice Chancellor, the interim will take on the following key areas of responsibility:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be responsible for the governance, assurance and compliance structures of the University. The successful candidate will ensure that the university meets its regulatory and statutory obligations while ensuring that decision-making processes are smooth and well-managed.
We are looking for a someone who has the expertise to provide authoritative advice to the Chair, members of the Board and SLT on the University’s constitutional and regulatory framework as embodied in the University’s articles of association.
As the successful candidate you will keep the University’s governance under review and initiate change where appropriate to ensure that it is fit for purpose and enables the University to pursue its strategic goals and remain relevant.
The successful candidate will be a highly effective leader and stakeholder manager who is able to influence and engage both academic and non-academic communities, manage risk and drive effective collaboration. You will bring experience in compliance, statutory and regulatory requirements.
