Anderson Quigley is pleased to continue our campaign of leadership recruitment with GEDU Global Education (the parent company of GBS and GBS Dubai), this time on the appointment of their inaugural Director of Pathways (UK and International). Please note, this is a fully on-site role, to be based from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Dubai, with an expectation for international travel.

Overview of the role:

The Director of Pathways is a newly created role and will lead the development and delivery of strategy for pathways across the institution. The Director will be the key institutional contact for all key external pathway partners and be pro-active in evaluating and setting up new pathway partnerships. This is an organisation-wide, global role, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including academic staff to evaluate new progression routes, and the Student Recruitment teams to ensure that strategy is aligned with recruitment and partnership plans. The new Director will also oversee the operational activity of the Pathway provision and have the opportunity to build a new team, operating globally across 12 countries.

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship management and influencing skills, and an unwavering commitment to customer-focused excellence and the ability to lead a new operation. Experience of working in the Higher Education sector at a senior level and having in-depth knowledge of international pathways is essential, as is experience of pathway partnership development and operation (UK and International). Regular UK and international travel is also expected.
