Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working once again with Gedu Global Education, the parent company of GBS and GBS Dubai, on the key appointment of a Global Head of HR. Please note, this is a fully on-site role, to be based from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Dubai, with an expectation for international travel (European territories mostly).

Overview of the role:

The Global Head of HR will lead the development, coordination and successful function of HR Services across all GEDU businesses. This is a critical role that will involve strong advisory support to senior stakeholders based on knowledge of UK and international legislation, both with regards to existing GEDU businesses and future acquisitions. Your responsibilities will include supporting stakeholders, managing caseloads and leading the provision of HR services at group level. You will work group-wide, liaising with subsidiaries to lead future planning and you will also manage the most complex casework, alongside providing overall guidance to the HR function.

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior HR professional within national and international regulatory and cultural environments, with demonstrated success in delivering high quality operational HR leadership, particularly within fast growth, scaling organisations. Strong knowledge of global employment law and HR compliance is integral to this role, ideally having worked with employees in multiple countries. Also essential is experience of HR Operations, Systems, Processes, Policies and Employee Relations / Casework. Regular UK and international travel is also expected.
