Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working once again with a University in the Midlands on the appointment of an interim Head of Student Records and Processes. This is for an initial 6-month period, to start ASAP or within 2 months’ notice at the latest, with c.1-2 days per week (or fortnight at a push) on-site. It is highly preferable that the role is remunerated on an FTC salaried basis, but we will consider a day-rate for the right candidate. Travel expenses and accommodation may also be considered on a discretionary basis.


The University is on a transformative journey to revamp student record and process management. As Head of this pivotal function, you’ll lead a core team central to student and curriculum records, data, and processes. Your role will be to drive the development and maintenance of effective records, improving university-wide processes to enhance the student experience. You’ll also provide expert guidance to the University Leadership Board and stakeholders, ensuring top-notch student records and assessment data, meeting deadlines, and exceeding academic standards.

Essential Criteria:

Essential to the success of this role is a proven track record in managing and developing student records processes and systems to perform a range of core activities and functions across the student lifecycle. Also essential is the ability to manage cross-institutional strategic projects amidst competing demands. Furthermore, you will bring demonstrable experience of commissioning and undertaking high quality data analysis, presenting findings and insights accurately to support effective reporting of information, institution wide. In summary, the ideal candidate will be able to review, diagnose, lead, design, and implement the effective set-up of the new Student Records and Processes office and team for the university.
