Brunel is now seeking a new Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, the CFO will be responsible for strategic financial management at institution-wide level, enhancing business performance and procurement, and supporting the delivery of our ambitious strategic goals. As our CFO, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our finance and procurement function and work closely with leaders across the University to ensure that we are using our resources effectively to achieve our objectives.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with substantial experience of operating at senior leadership/board level helping to develop and implement strategic plans. You will have experience of managing significant budgets and operating plans in large and complex organisations. Experience of influencing and partnering with non-executive and senior management teams on financial issues is also essential.
