Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working once again with GBS on the appointment of a Head of Data and Information. This role is permanent and is required to be on-site full time from any one of GBS’ regional UK campuses: Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or London.

What you’ll be doing:

As Head of Data and Information, you will lead the way in transforming data into valuable insights, oversee the development of GBS’ data and information team, and be responsible for providing statistical analysis and reporting for admissions, recruitment, student performance and institutional KPIs. With your expertise, you will ensure that data becomes a powerful tool for driving informed decisions and improving the institution’s performance.

Your proficiency in advanced Excel, statistical techniques, and modelling will enable you to analyse student numbers, applications, performance, and engagement metrics, allowing you to generate comprehensive and insightful management information reports. Additionally, you will provide timely reports on student satisfaction surveys (i.e NSS) and collaborate with various departments to support the writing of internal and external reports.

Essential Criteria:

Essential to this role’s success is extensive knowledge and leadership experience in data, information, reporting, statistical analysis and business intelligence within a Higher Education environment. Also essential is proficiency in Power BI data visualisation and advanced Excel for user-friendly reporting, effective dashboarding, and modelling to enable robust statistical analysis of data.
