Interim Associate Director of Future Students (Admissions), Midlands University

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working once again with a University in the Midlands on the appointment of an Interim Associate Director of Future Students (Hybrid Working), to specifically provide leadership to their admissions function during the clearing process. This is for an initial 6 month FTC, to start ASAP or by mid-July 2023 at the latest (some flexibility), with c.2 days on-site per week.

Further to a 12 month review of student recruitment services, the university has created a ‘future students’ division, aiming to create an end to end service that will be wholly responsible for initial contact, outreach and WP efforts, to admissions, conversion and enrolment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions, The Associate Director of Future Students is a brand new role within this new structure. Whilst the role is broader and more strategic in the long term, the immediate interim need is to clear the incoming UK/UCAS admissions deadlines.

Previous experience within a Higher Education Admissions leadership role or a role that is very closely linked to the delivery of clearing operations (i.e. UK/Domestic Student Recruitment) will be essential. Also essential is short term availability and the willingness to be on-site an average of 2 days per week (with the exception of being on-site full-time through the 2 week clearing period).
