Anderson Quigley is delighted to be working with a large university in Central South England on the ASAP appointment of an interim Head of Educational Partnerships. Practicalities as follows: 12-18 month FTC, 4 or 5 days a week considered, hybrid working of 2 or 3 days on-site required, and immediate or early August start at the latest.
Overview:
Unique and crucial to this interim role is the change and transformation element of merging, stabilising, and driving the performance of the UK and International partnerships teams. In this senior position, you will work closely with the VC’s Group to define the university’s strategies for global and UK partnership and apprenticeships delivery. You will also have operational oversight of the aforementioned, ensuring effective management of the university’s transnational education, exchange partners, UK partnerships and apprenticeships. In delivering these responsibilities, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, engage internally and externally, and influence at all levels to identify business development opportunities (both nationally and abroad), and meet the university’s student recruitment targets and increase their associated income streams.
Essential Criteria:
The interim Head of Educational Partnerships must have extensive strategic and operational knowledge in establishing and delivering UK and TNE partnerships, demonstrated leadership experience in Higher Education for collaborative provisions, articulation agreements, and research partnerships, and expertise in commercial and contractual matters. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess the ability to develop and implement organisational strategies, engage in financial and legal negotiations, and have a deep understanding of student experience, academic values, and process optimisation for UK and TNE partnerships. Flexibility in working irregular hours and traveling overseas is also required.
