Following our appointment of the London Campus Director, Anderson Quigley is delighted to be partnering once again with Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (part of Nottingham Trent University) on the appointment of their Head of Campus Operations.

Opening in September 2023, Confetti’s brand new, state-of-the-art campus in Whitechapel, London, will include a 600-capacity multipurpose venue to host live music, entertainment, and e-sports, as well as specialist studios and teaching spaces, which will deliver pioneering creative education aligned to the entertainment industries. Confetti provides the very best technology and facilities, industry opportunities, and teaching experiences to UK and international students at undergraduate and postgraduate study levels.

Confetti is now seeking a Head of Campus Operations for their London Campus. This is an integral role within the Campus Leadership Team, to be responsible for the operational management of the campus. The post holder will create a professional and vibrant atmosphere through the delivery of seamless high-quality services for students, using energy, innovative thinking, and knowledge of the entertainment sector to deliver class-leading events relevant to the Confetti mission.

In the role you will:

  • Oversee all operations and administration for Confetti to achieve the highest standards of service for students, staff, stakeholders, and members of the public.
  • Ensure all physical and technical resources such as the BMS, studios, teaching and learning spaces, studios, venue, PCs, and devices are managed effectively, and to appropriately deliver best-in-class services for all users.
  • Have operational responsibility for campus-level risk, business continuity, GDPR, and health & safety matters.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate activities of all operational and administrative staff.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in operational management in a creative, production, festivals, events, and live venue environment with a diverse clientele base.
  • Ideally, high-level management experience within an academic environment and balancing the needs of students alongside operational and commercial priorities.
  • Understanding of health and safety and other similar legislation relating to the running of venues and public events involving the sale of alcohol.
  • Expertise in delivering high-quality outcomes to challenging deadlines and balancing competing priorities.
