Anderson Quigley is delighted to be partnering with Applied Business Academy (ABA) on the appointment of their Principal.
Applied Business Academy is an Alternative Provider of Higher Education that has experienced significant growth since it was founded 10 years ago, with 300% year-on-year growth in the last 3 years. Currently, ABA has c.140 staff, c.1500 learners and two campuses: an impressive 27,000 sq.ft. main campus in Canary Wharf and another campus nearing completion in Luton. ABA offers vocationally oriented courses – their simple and unabashed goal is to upskill non-traditional student demographics and get their students into professional careers.
What is the role?
This is a Dean level role in duties and responsibilities, with the added uniqueness of being ultimately responsible for the entire institution’s academic provision. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous, commercially minded and quality focused academic leader, who is willing to help ABA continue to professionalise into a mature Higher Education Institution, gain new validated partnerships, and continue to grow their student numbers and reputation. This is a wonderful opportunity to nurture, grow and steward a future 5000+ student Higher Education Institution focused on socioeconomic empowerment and vocational outcomes in the mid and long term. The role will grow in responsibility and scope as the years pass to something approximating PVC level.
What’s in it for you?
A negotiable six-figure salary, an apartment/flat close to Canary Wharf (if non-local), 28 days holiday (non-inclusive of Bank Holidays), the opportunity to play a crucial and influential part in shaping the future and legacy of ABA within the HE sector, and to put your own stamp on the organisation.
