Anderson Quigley is delighted to once again be working with a Southeast / London University on the ASAP appointment of an Interim Deputy Director of Alumni and Development for a 9 month FTC, to start ASAP or within 1 months’ notice, and 1-2 days per week expected on-site.

Overview:

The External Relationships team is a new team within Marketing and Communications, and has been established to harness the power and influence of philanthropic giving and individual support, in particular but not exclusively from alumni, and stakeholder engagement to support the university to achieve its institutional purpose.

As Interim Deputy Director of Alumni and Development (DD A&D), you will have a fantastic opportunity to lead and co-ordinate the university’s institutional engagement with philanthropic donors, alumni and current and future potential supporters. This will be at a local, national and international level, in order to support the university’s strategic ambitions for growth and increasing reputation.

Essential Criteria:

It is essential that the Interim DD A&D has significant experience of the following: 𝟭.) Managing significant budgets, 𝟮.) Campaign development and leadership, particularly within an awareness raising or fundraising context, 𝟯.) Gravitas sufficient enough to represent the university at a senior level and be credible among very senior representatives of partner organisations and with VIPs, 𝟰.) Familiarity with customer relationship or content management systems and finally, 𝟱.) Applying digital brand to campaign development.
