Anderson Quigley would be delighted to hear from any senior Organisation Design professionals, who are available within 1-2 months’ notice for an 18 month FTC with a large UK University. The role is to work predominantly remotely, with c.1 day per week expected on-site.
As the interim Organisation Design Lead, you will work closely with senior leaders, functional leads, and other key stakeholders to drive the development of sustainable organisation design that meets the challenges of the future. Your responsibilities will include guiding the development of their institutional design philosophy, principles, and approach, as well as championing best practice methodologies, approaches, playbooks, and toolkits to grow the organisation design community and capability.
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in organisational design, operating model and business transformation, and strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills. You will also have experience in designing and leading workshops and be able to balance established good practice with pragmatism and creativity. Also essential is a solid understanding of institution wide organisation design initiatives and the ability to support the delivery of operating model and organisation designs that span multiple units. Also desirable would be experience of advising on options for the use of market-leading software and technology, which will aid future organisation design modelling and interventions. Finally, the above experience gained within either the Higher Education sector or wider Public Sector, within a large scale, similarly complex organisation would be particularly attractive.
