Anderson Quigley is currently working with London South Bank University to identify an experienced HR Business Partner to join a successful team supporting the universities strategic goals.
LSBU Group is a family of education providers, led by London South Bank University. They work to a shared educational framework across secondary, further, higher education and beyond. This opportunity will work across the group.
Reporting to the Director of People, the successful candidate will be required to deliver a strategic business partnering service to Academic Schools and Professional Service Directorates across the University. You will support members of the Executive, Deans and Directors to deliver their strategies and local delivery plans through the provision of high-quality professional advice and guidance on the full range of HR and OD strategies.
The successful HR Business Partner will be responsible for advising and supporting managers with complex employment relations issues in line with LSBU policies, relevant legislation and best practice. You will work closely with colleagues in the Change team and in the wider People and Organisation Development Directorate to promote consistency and excellence.
As the successful candidate you will be an expert in employee relations, building effective relationships with recognised unions to enable successful consultation and negotiation on key HR issues and policy development. You will be data driven and analytical in your thinking.
The successful candidate will build and maintain professional relationships, delivering an excellent HR service, establishing and maintaining personal credibility and using a coaching style to support managers to lead change.
We are looking for someone who is CIPD qualified or equivalent and who can demonstrate experience of providing a financially aware, customer focused and commercially oriented HR Business Partner service, in a large and complex organisation.
