Anderson Quigley would be grateful to hear from any readily or soon to be available interim Heads or Directors of Employee Relations to possibly support a UK University for c.4-6 months. The business case for this role is still being shaped, so please only reach out if you are comfortable with the tentative nature of the role at this stage.
The work will revolve around a few key interim areas: implementing a new people strategy, developing the capabilities of the current ER team, and in doing so, help move the HRBPs / People Partners away from case management and allow them to focus on business partnering, and managing and leading on a varied caseload. There will also be aspects of policy review and development, in addition to taking on interim responsibility for Higher Education relevant Union relationship management.
What we need in particular is someone with immediate/ASAP availability and senior leadership experience within Employee Relations / Industrial Relations / ER, gained within a large, complex public sector environment (Higher Education, NHS, Government, Public Transport and other publicly regulated sectors).
