Specialisms:Education
Date posted:14th February 2023

Anderson Quigley is delighted to be partnering with a UK University on the appointment of an Interim Head of Apprenticeships, for a 6-month FTC. This is to start ASAP or within 1 months’ notice and will offer hybrid working, ideally on-site 2 days per week but every fortnight could be discussed. Full time is preferred but the university is also willing to consider part-time at 3 or 4 days per week.

The key goals for the Interim Head of Apprenticeships to achieve over c.6 months are as follows: 1.) Embedding and managing change within a new structure, 2.) Helping the university prepare for internal audits, 3.) Making progress on the post OFSTED action plan, 4.) Apprenticeships programme and process review, and 5.) Helping to centralise the department from a formerly devolved model.

The University have c.500+ apprenticeships across a diverse range of c.10+ programmes. Therefore, recent and relevant experience of managing and leading apprenticeships at a similar or larger scale within Higher Education, Further Education or HE within FE, is essential to the success of this interim role (likely as Lead, Head or Director of Apprenticeships). Also essential will be technical knowledge of funding roles, being conversant with EFSA accountability framework indicators, and being able to manage, lead, develop and motivate a sizeable team through change.

If the above sounds like you, please get in touch with Akhil Yerneni on +44 (0) 7808 649 556 or akhil@andersonquigley.com ASAP to discuss further.
