Following the move to our new state-of-the-art campus in Chiswick Park, West London, we are developing a new strategy that will see the University grow and further diversify its student body, broaden and diversify is academic offer and expand its international partnerships.
We are now seeking to appoint the Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, who has primary responsibility for delivering the University’s learning and teaching strategy, research strategy, and for academic performance and reporting. The Provost reports directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor and is an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees.
Our new Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, will bring a proven track record of executive and strategic level academic leadership, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and motivate colleagues at all levels. Candidates will have experience of leading and managing major change programmes, along with experience of managing relationships with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, international partners and professional advisers. They will have excellent communication skills and a leadership style that demonstrates warmth, integrity, transparency and collegiality. An international outlook is essential and experience of both the UK and US higher education systems is desirable.
