Pro Vice Chancellor, Research and Knowledge Exchange

We are now seeking to appoint the Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Knowledge Exchange. Reporting to the Provost | Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the postholder is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the University’s strategies for research and knowledge exchange.

A member of the University Executive Team, the PVC Research and Knowledge Exchange has direct line management responsibility for the Research and Knowledge Exchange Office and will work collaboratively with the Academic Deans at the London campus and senior colleagues from the University’s overseas campuses.

You will bring a distinguished academic profile, including an internationally excellent research standing, along with a track record of successful academic leadership and management at a senior level in higher education. You will have experience of developing and leading a diverse, inclusive and action-oriented research culture and the ability to develop innovative approaches to research and knowledge exchange. You will also have experience of leading external engagement with research partners, funders and industry.

You will have strong empathy with the mission and values of Middlesex University and a track record of action in support of equality, diversity and inclusion.
