We are working with a University in the South East on the ASAP appointment of an Interim Deputy Director of UK Student Recruitment for a 6 month FTC to start late January / early February 2023, with 1-2 days on campus per week.
As Deputy Director, you will have overall responsibility for the university’s links with schools, colleges, and other education providers and external partners in the UK, as well as UK digital and above-the-line marketing, budget management, ROI, and web journeys. You will also lead a team in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of recruitment events and activities that raise the profile and reputation of the university within the UK, and support prospective student to enrolled student conversion. Ultimately, the interim needs to contribute strategic leadership to ensure that all UK recruitment activity supports the university’s strategy and is on track to meet targets.
Therefore, candidates with extensive knowledge of UK Higher Education sector would be highly preferred, as well as excellent digital and above-the-line marketing experience in client-side or agency roles managing large teams and significant budgets. The ability to plan campaigns, manage budgets, deliver CPA targets, and allocate budgets by region, as well as experience of working with digital media formats, above-the-line analytics and user journeys is essential. The interim will also require experience delivering cost-effective (CPA) targets from similar acquisitions categories and demonstrable leadership and management experience.
