Home to world renowned research, the College of Social Sciences brings together inspiring people in a creative, engaged and collaborative environment for learning and research to engender positive social change. The Adam Smith Business School, named in honour of University of Glasgow alumni, is the largest of five Schools within the College. We now invite applications to lead this high performing, triple accredited Business School.

With a new building providing world class facilities coming on stream in 2023, the Business School offers accredited degree programmes in Accounting & Finance, Economics and Management and combines world-class research and teaching. The School helps to transform organisations and careers by creating inspiring leaders, researchers and professionals with impact. We seek a new Head of School who shares our values and our ambitions to build on our strengths and take the School to the next level.

The Head of School is a pivotal leadership appointment and carries significant accountability for providing strategic leadership and direction as we focus on research and knowledge exchange, learning and teaching.
